How to screenshot on Windows
Every keyboard shortcut for taking screenshots on Windows — Snipping Tool, region, window, and full screen.
Open the Snipping Tool
Press Windows + Shift + S. Choose a rectangular, freeform, window, or full-screen snip.

Capture full screen to file
Press Windows + Print Screen. The screenshot saves to Pictures > Screenshots.

Capture the active window
Press Alt + Print Screen to copy the foreground window to the clipboard.
